FLAMINIA IS BACK AT ISH
IN A NEW LOCATION AND WITH PLENTY OF SPACE,
WHERE THE LEAD ROLE GOES TO THE INNOVATIVE GERMAN DESIGN AWARD WINNER PRODUCTS
Flaminia’s new colours and original technical features will be on display in Frankfurt from 13 to 17 March.
From 13 to 17 March, Flaminia is taking centre stage in Frankfurt at ISH – the most important trade fair for bathroom design, energy-saving technologies, air conditioning and building automation. Around 2,000 companies are expected to display their wares at the event, and Flaminia – a trailblazer in resorting to design processes to create its ceramic products for the bathroom – is enhancing its visibility this year with a prominent location and a comprehensive display where best sellers and new creations are artfully combined.
An azure container, hosting different bathroom environments that can be seen from the outside through large windows, is the concept of the stand designed by art director Giulio Cappellini.
Experimenting with colours, an activity that has always been a hallmark of the brand, finds expression in two brand-new colours, Uva and Menta, drawing inspiration from nature. The new matt hues are presented on two huge circular installations that amplify their visual impact. The colour palette of the brand becomes more and more rich, ranging from metallic (Gold and Platinum) and silver finishes (Silver Black and Silver White) to matt finishes: Latte and Carbone, Argilla and Cenere, Nuvola and Fango, Petrolio and Rosso Rubens.
The different environments take you on a journey amidst the brand’s iconic collections and the latest creations, styled by celebrated names of contemporary design. Recent proposals, such as Spire+ by Elena Salmistraro, are presented alongside best sellers, such as Bonola by Jasper Morrison, Roll by Nendo, Flag by Alessio Pinto, Madre by Silvana Angeletti and Daniele Ruzza. A special place is reserved for Giulio Cappellini’s Astra and Niccolò Adolini‘s Fluo collections, which were awarded first prize and special mention, respectively, at the German Design Award 2023, in the Bath & Wellness category.
An unprecedented project, to be unveiled in Frankfurt, is the Play collection. Square lines and rounded corners, pure and neutral shapes that will readily blend into any interior design context are the salient features of the new line, born of the creativity of the Flaminia design team. Playful and light, as its name suggests, Play is composed of: a wall-hung WC with goclean system, a wall-hung bidet and a freestanding bathtub. The bathtub features a modern, clean-cut design and prominent edges that give it character and personality. Besides the traditional glossy white, Play bathroom fixtures come in a choice of matt colours: Ash Grey, Charcoal Black and Milky White.
The shower tray category is enriched with the new CM3 collection. Made of ceramic with a non-slip and antibacterial surface that makes them stain-resistant and easy to clean, the CM3s are only 3 cm high and can be installed flush with the floor or resting on it. The CM3 range includes 6 sizes and 4 different matt colours.
AppLight, the recently launched line of washbasins from the App collection, has acquired acquired two new models: a 120 cm wide double bowl washbasin and a reversible handwashbasin. Both models come with a tap surface, are suitable for wall and countertop installation, and can be had in various colours: Latte, Carbone, Uva and Menta. Cubika storage units, Denver and Filo washbasin stands, and Lux, Make-Up and Saltodacqua lamps round off the display.
A major area is devoted to technical innovation. The company’s ongoing research endeavours find expression in the innovative gosilent flushing system. The new system applied to the App and Monò toilet bowls is a further development of the goclean project. Besides the advantages of a rimless toilets, gosilent achieves a reduction in flushing noise of around 50 per cent compared to a goclean version of a toilet of the same model.
In the central area dedicated to new products there is a section reserved for the kitchen, where, in the foreground, is the Acquafood ceramic sink, which made its official debut at the last edition of Cersaie, in its Charcoal Black finish.
Aesthetic and technical research, Italian design, excellence and sustainability are the strengths that secure Flaminia’s place among the companies that can successfully meet the new challenges posed by the international market.
