The collection is completed by three new glossy finishes — Miele, Castagno and Tundra — inspired by the natural world, further expanding the brand’s rich colour palette.

The showroom also features other recent proposals, such as Norma by Elena Salmistraro and Settecento Cut by Giulio Cappellini, in a continuous dialogue between new
introductions and established collections.

The exhibition path extends to Superstudio Maxi, where Flaminia is involved in two installations.
In The City, a district suspended between reality and virtual vision, imagining a future life defined by balance and serenity, the brand contributes to the design of bathroom
environments within a harmonious scenario.
In When Design Becomes Art, a striking multicolour composition of Rocchetto stools by Alessandro Mendini, conceived by Giulio Cappellini and Leonardo Talarico, takes

the form of a true tower, paying tribute to an iconic figure of Italian design.

The narrative continues at the panoramic rooftop of S32, in the Isola district, with the exhibition “Giulio Cappellini & Flaminia: una storia italiana”, dedicated to a long-standing
creative partnership spanning decades. The installation, defined by a clean and graphic language, brings together some of the most representative designs created by Cappellini for the brand, including Acquagrande and Link (designed with Roberto Palomba), alongside the more recent Settecento and Astra, presented in Latte and Carbone finishes. The products are displayed on platforms made with Venezia laminate, designed by the art director for Abet Laminati.
This year also marks the twentieth anniversary of the Miniwash collection: compact washbasins defined by essential lines and reduced thicknesses, embodying a
balance between functionality and aesthetics. For the occasion, Miniwash 40 is reintroduced in a special numbered edition, signed by the designer, in the vibrant Arancio Segnale finish.

With this articulated itinerary, Flaminia reaffirms its commitment to experimentation and innovation, while remaining deeply rooted in its heritage and continuing to
explore new design possibilities for the bathroom.

This latest innovation—designed for end consumers, designers, and retailers—offers an engaging, intuitive, and personalized shopping experience.

Among the new product launches is SettecentoCut, the latest evolution in the series of washbasins designed by Giulio Cappellini, which reinterprets the classical column
in a sculptural key. Norma, a freestanding washbasin with unprecedented forms, showcases the creativity of Elena Salmistraro. Also on display are Falala by E. Salmistraro and Siena by young designer Advay Gupta—both previously appreciated at the last Milan Design Week—now shown in colours that enhance their geometric lines.

Flaminia’s offering remains broad and versatile, showcasing products from the Play line, AppLight washbasins, the new Link51 back-to-wall toilet and bidet, Stil brushed steel

mixers, and new painted brass mixer models matching ceramic finishes called Look. Also featured are the AppTub and Play bathtubs, Cubika furniture in multiple finishes and
materials, the AppSolution collection for specific needs, and iconic collections such as Bonola, Flag, Astra, Madre, Box, and Taki. The colour palette—ranging from glossy to matte finishes—is being extended across more products.

The Flaminia Home line is also expanding, with new decorative items such as Flaminia Vases, interpreted by renowned contemporary designers. For Flaminia Home, the exhibition will feature Rocchetto stools/tables in various styles, Lux lamps by Norguet, Make-Up by Navone, Saltodacqua, and the latest TubLamp designed by the Nendo studio.

FLAMINIA SHOWROOM
In the historic venue in the heart of the Brera Design District, Flaminia’s 2025 creations take pride of place alongside the brand’s iconic projects. Among Flaminia’s new proposals is the Falala washbasin, designed by Elena Salmistraro, which highlights the three-dimensional processing of ceramics. With this work, the designer explores the strength and pliability properties of one of her favourite materials, while paying homage to Sub-Saharan culture. In the Ghanaian language, in fact, Falala means “born in abundance”. Her design is inspired by the shape of African baskets and evokes the atmosphere of this continent with a colour scheme featuring warm earthy tones.

Play, the successful collection designed by the brand’s in-house creative team, which includes wall-mounted and floor-standing sanitaryware, countertop washbasins and a freestanding bathtub, is now enriched by a compact monobloc element, once again defined by clean lines, rounded corners and pure, neutral shapes.

Making his début with the brand is Advay Gupta, a very young designer of Indian origin, who has already won an international competition and has designed Siena, a washbasin whose rounded shapes call to mind the gentle contours of the Tuscan hills. The addition of this new talent to Flaminia’s creative team confirms the scouting skills of art director Giulio Cappellini who, since 2004, has brought together renowned and young designers to write the latest chapter in the history of Flaminia. A chapter that owes much to the use of colour, now a distinctive feature of the brand. This year, new glossy colours – Avana, Azzurro Polvere, Verde Giada and Terracotta – are used on many products, enhancing their appeal. The matt shades of the rich palette – Argilla, Cenere, Carbone and Fango – recall the natural elements while the special Crystal and Metal finishes round off the brand’s wide colour choice.

The showroom also hosts the first Flaminia Vases collection, the brand’s efforts to experiment beyond sanitary products and venture into the decorative field continue. A process that began with the lamps and stools of the Flaminia Home line. A group of designers from different parts of the world have interpreted a simple geometric shape, made of ceramic in a soft shade of matt Latte. On this blank slate the designers have impressed their own style. Japanese designer Nendo decorated it with small drawings reminiscent of a comic strip and renamed it Sketch. Indian designer Satyendra Pakhale created Amri, a small painting with simple brushstrokes of colour, while for the decoration of Tessora his fellow countryman Advay Gupta drew inspiration from the patterns of oriental tradition. From Italy comes Barcode, created by the Dimore Studio duo with a very stylish graphic decoration that plays on the concept of barcodes; Leonardo Talarico left the mark of his minimalist style on Instinct; and finally Giulio Cappellini created the vibrant Mansour vase, creating a lavish use of colour.

The Flaminia Vases collection is part of a far-reaching project, Flaminia Cultura, launched for the brand’s 70th anniversary, which views the design project in broader terms, investigating new contemporary creative expressions and going beyond the narrow logic of production.

NEXT PLACE HOTEL 
Among the events taking place in the city during Milan Design Week, Flaminia is participating with a selection of its products in the Next Place Hotel installation, an unusual foray into the world of hospitality, conceived and designed by Giulio Cappellini. It takes us to an hotel of the future envisioned as a place for meeting, working, relaxing and wellness, a space for sharing and networking.

UNFORGETTABLE: 25 YEARS OF HAPPY DESIGN – Superstudio

An exhibition to celebrate 25 years of activity of one of the most experimental and avant-garde venues on the Milan scene, a place around which the Tortona District has flourished and which over time has been able to establish a dialogue between fashion, art, design, craftsmanship and photography. Unforgettable: 25 Years of Happy Design showcases a selection of products by Italy’s most important Italian furniture brands and some virtual installations. Flaminia is participating in the project with two of its bestsellers: the Monowash freestanding washbasin designed by Giulio Cappellini and the Bonola pedestal washbasin by Jasper Morrison. Also at Superstudio, presented in the window facing the street, is the installation Happy Colours Flaminia, a selection of the Settecento washbasins designed by Giulio Cappellini in different colours that change the product’s visual and sensorial perception.

TACTILE EVOLUTION – Rooftop S32
The Tactile Evolution exhibition, to take place Wednesday 9 April in the panoramic space in Milan’s Porta Nuova area offering a breathtaking view over the city, is an immersive experience that evokes the ancestral landscapes of the African content and, at the same time, engages in a dialogue with the futuristic architecture of the metropolis.
The new Falala washbasin by Elena Salmistraro and other designs she created for Flaminia are the central features of the installation: the new Falala, the Spire/Spire+ washbasins and the Tratti decoration illustrate the stages of a coherent and innovative reflection on the expressive qualities of ceramic as a raw material.

The German Design Council, the independent jury composed of international experts from the fields of design, interior design, trade and media carefully examined all the proposals for the ICONIC AWARDS 2024: INTERIOR PRODUCTS and decided on the award of the prestigious award for the bathroom sector to the line of countertop washbasins with ceramic relief decoration, Spire+, designed by the young and talented Salmistraro.

The company from Civita Castellana wins the Motore Italia Awards – Regione Lazio for the three-year period 2020 – 2022. Flaminia, with its 70 years long activity, stands among the best Italian Small and Medium Enterprises according to the MF-Milano Finanza format.

“For the best Mf Milano Finanza rating on Leanus data for the three-year period 2020-2022 Lazio Region” with this justification the company, a pioneer in the introduction of design in bathroom furnishing products, achieved this important prize.

The nine stages of “Motore Italia – The companies that make the country move” throughout the regions culminated in the award ceremony of the best national companies and entrepreneurs which was held in Milan on 7^th of February. For Flaminia Dr. Francesco Bravini, member of the Board of Directors, collected the award.

The event, organized by MF- Milano Finanza and Class Editori, was also an opportunity for a discussion amongst the protagonists of the Italian industrial system.

This is how the Italian association that established the award, and is known the world over for its prestigious Compasso d’Oro design prize, describes the stand designed by Flaminia’s art director Giulio Cappellini in collaboration with Leonardo Talarico.

Cappellini has designed a space structured like a village to be explored while enjoying an immersive experience. Clad, like the floor, in grey porcelain stoneware, the walls of the boxes are a tribute to the contemporary architecture of the Rising Sun. The design project for the exhibition revolves around a large glass structure in the centre, housing the bar and lounge, and serving as a link to the different sections of the stand whose nuances match the colours of the products on display.

“We are very proud of this recognition, which once again testifies to Flaminia’s commitment and willingness to explore the language of design. The company was a pioneer in conceiving the world of the bathroom as a project, seeking the collaboration of renowned designers, experimenting with the theme of colour applied to bathroom furnishings, and investing in display concepts that engage the visitors while offering them an immersive experience of the brand,” commented Giulio Cappellini, art director of Flaminia.
