The Chesa Stuva Colani Hotel is a luxury oasis endowed with great charm and truly unique in its ability to blend together refined interior design with the history of an ancient building in Engadin and the service quality that only top-notch hospitality can offer.
Th historic building rises in the centre of Madulain, the smallest municipality in Engadin, 13 km away from St Moritz. Initially built to house the “Veltliner Weine Romedi” winery, it was restructured, converted into a hotel and, in 1984, expanded by adding a new structure in the courtyard between the two buildings. In 2011, it was totally remodelled and the body of the hotel hall was reconstructed.
Art and architecture are in close correlation, with different languages they come together and overlap without mingling, expressing, in a profound, unexpected manner, the relationship between the building and the location where it rises.
The inner space has been designed for conviviality, art, and privacy, enabling the hotel guests to benefit from authentic relaxation, exquisite Mediterranean cuisine, and the pleasures of uncontaminated nature.
The hotel has been equipped with every comfort: the intelligence that characterises the management of the facility uses the latest developments in the field of domotics. In every room, the area devoted to personal care is fitted out with sanitary ware and washbasins by Ceramica Flaminia.
